The Shaldon Suite was very good with its spacious layout and new carpet, complemented by a super comfy sofa bed. The quiet atmosphere despite its proximity to a main road was surprising, and the bathroom featured an excellent spa jet bath and a rain shower with color-changing lights. Breakfast options were reasonably priced and delicious, and the staff were notably friendly and helpful.

Its location just a short stroll away from St Andrew's was handy. Tastefully decorated room, central heating, an iron and an electronic key card were a nice surprise. Professional staff, suggested places to visit.

Breakfast
No sign at all at entrance so missed the Hotel and was late at night and I was a solo traveller.mY CARD DID NOT WORK THE DOOR TO REACH THE PASSAGE TO MY HOTEL AND NOONE SHOWED ME MY ROOM. SIMILAR TO TRAVEL LODGE. Like a prison block when I thought I hD BOOKED INTO A hOTEL AND DID NOT REALISE i WAS TO GO OUTSIDE TO REACH MY ROOM.

It was en route to our destination and just off the motorway. Provided good car parking with a comfortable room. The evening bar meals were excellent and the breakfast was plentiful. Staff were helpful and attentive.
Nothing.

The Standard Twin Room offered a decent amount of space. The shower pressure provided a satisfying experience, ensuring a good flow of hot water.
No electrical plugs near the bedside made it a hassle to charge devices. The kettle didn't fit the socket, so no chance of hot drinks in the room. The carpeting was a bit worn, and little touches like slippers would have been appreciated, especially for the price. It's not in the heart of the town, but it is accessible via the motorway, which some may find convenient. The dining area resembled a common room, lacking a more pleasant ambiance. A thorough cleaning would benefit the hotel, as cobwebs and dust were noticeable in the room, especially around the curtain poles and wardrobe. The bathroom showed signs of mould that detracted from the overall experience.

Very attentive staff when we had a problem with the TV, changed to a new room with no fuss, rooms small but clean and comfortable, good breakfast, overall fine.
Location a bit of a let down compared to the pictures and website, was expecting a more rural location and a country style hotel, it was more an american style motel.

Great breakfast and comfy rooms
Super clean with a big shower and comfy bed! Breakfast was legit, tons of options, but those plates were scalding. Staff were super friendly and fast, awesome. Just wished the dining area felt a bit more lively. Really nice spot for a quick getaway!
